Mr Michael Cannon

Mike Cannon is an accomplished surveillance and counter terrorist advisor with twenty seven years experience, gained with the Ministry of Defence (MOD), Special Forces and commercial security. His field experience extends to countering and frustrating the activities of terrorists and serious crime. As a Senior Executive Officer in MOD he held a number of key appointments, across a broad spectrum of operational positions. His wide-ranging expertise encompassed: planning, managing, leading and conducting operations against a host of challenging and demanding individuals and organisations, in diverse environments. Upon leaving Special Forces and prior to joining MOD he managed and commanded a close protection team for a prominent Middle East ambassador, in Washington D.C. In 2004 he formed Security Surveillance Solutions, in part to specialise in providing anti- and counter-surveillance advice and training to industry. His conduct in the field was recognised with the second highest award for gallantry and a Mention in Dispatches for anti-terrorist operations.
